It wont matter if you install OXM MULTI CSC BTU you will still be locked to whatever network you're on.

Thanks grant! that trick used to work on the s6. I gather I need to get this device unlocked by the network then?

unlock won't work as the OS will be carrier branded beta's normally only open for BTU based firmware

I tried this last week o2 say"Your device is already unlatched so an unlatching code will not be
needed." that's all they give you

Number 121 now works!!

It was posted over on xda forums earlier today. I signed up but I had already flashed German DBT firmware last week (uk unlocked s20+ 5g) and all is well, firmware shows BTU and no major issues (few beta lags nothing serious).
Just waiting to see if a new firmware will be issued with UK beta launch 😊
