Galaxy S20+ battery drain since Android 12 upgrade

I upgraded my Galaxy S20+ phone to Android 12 on 1st Jan 2022. Since then I have had to reset a number of linked accounts and I lost a large number of Contacts. However the most concerning is that my battery does not last a full day of use once being fully charged. Is anyone else getting this battery drain and is there a fix?

No battery drain for me, I cleared the cache though so that might be the reason for no battery drain for me.

Hi, I thought it was just me making a settings error but almost half my contacts ended in the contacts recycle bin - some were labelled 'unknown'. Spent ages restoring them in Outlook but the same thing happened again! You can tell when it has happened as some of my WhatsApp contacts names revert to number only!

I agree battery life is a lot worse. From 1.5 days to less than 1 day (even with in car charging for a few hours)!

Extreme battery drain from 25% to 0% in minutes and from 10% to 0% in 2 minutes.

I already cleaned cache
