From iPhone Xr to Samsung S20 - Battery dissapointment

Hello,

I dropped my iPhone Xr due to the "known" apple battery issues and purchased the S20 (EU) model with 4G only.

My device overheats (I am using CPU Monitor app and I figured that my device under normal conditions (just browsing the net or using a chat app) has a temperature of 40C to 45C and if I use it a lot, it goes even higher.

I asked a friend with a P30 Pro and his device is at 36C or less.

Now, for the battery, it goes down very very fast, much faster than my previous iPhone.

Does anyone have the same model so to post any information regarding this behavior? Maybe it's my device faulty?

it's the exynos variant which sucks battery like crazy despite the large 4000mah cell. So far, it seems hit or miss. some exynos owners have acceptable battery, other like you don't. exynos model is also known to overheat. if you are fine without warranty, you would have a better experience with an imported US Snapdragon S20 which has a more powerful, efficient and cooler processor.
