So, I got a new s20 last month on o2 and was told to claim free buds after 30 days. I tried to do it via the link and it now tells me the offer is closed🤷‍♂️

you have to have owned the new phone for 30 days before you can claim the free buds... just make a note on your calendar to remember to claim them next month
