Facial Recognition Improvement

Hi - I am getting to know my new S20 Ultra and one thing I would like to suggest is that when the phone regonises your face it goes to the Home Screen and skips the unecessary step of haing to swip the screen up. This is how my other phone, OnePlus 7t pro, works and its great.  Thanks

Hi - I have just managed to answer my own question, sigh!

Follow the steps to disable swipe to unlock on Galaxy S20:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Enter the Biometrics and security section.
3. Here select Face recognition.
4. Draw your current pattern or type your security code (PIN).
5. Toggle off Stay on Lock screen.

Thats it, now it goes directly to home screen when it regonised me, sorted 🙂

I done these steps and after face been recognised I still have to swipe the screen to open the phone

I think you have done everything right. Maybe ask Samsung support, they are very good

How do I report a problem to my Samsung?

1. [ How to report error using Samsung Members application ]
2. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and Tap Error reports.
3. Tap OK on agreement popup for sending system log data.
4. Select Symptom category.
5. Describe problem in detail and SEND.
