Emails go straight to archive after recent update

Since the recent update all my emails go straight to archive before they are read. 

I used to be able to touch an incoming email and it opened. Now it goes to archive as soon as I touch it and before I have chance to read it.

My ring tone has also gone and will not restore. I'm getting fed up of how this phone does not work as it should . Are you getting the same problems? And us it by design

Hmm, I haven't had any issues like this with my S20! Is the e-mail application itself up to date? You could also try to clear the cache for this by heading to Settings > Apps > E-mail > Storage > Clear Cache (this won't delete any data you have on there). 

If those fail, I'd go down the route of a Soft Reset. You can do this by pressing and holding the Power and Volume Down buttons together for 10 seconds.
