So disappointed that the S20 series it's going down.... Lot of problems and if you have 10% battery the phone become inoperable.... To bad that Samsung took that bad practice from apple and slows down older devices, hopping that those will be replace.....

I'm not sure that Samsung or other Android OEM's do this sort of thing.
It's more likely after a couple of years. The stored data and cookies, along with a battery getting lower on performance will slow a phone down.
You can always try wiping the Partition Cashe on the phone
Or if its so bad, you could try backing up you data and do a factory reset

I've done all that you are saying and even more.... It's a fact below 10% of battery, the phone becomes inoperable, delays on typing, the pages on Internet doesn't load properly and the battery is going down a lot faster than usual.....

samsung have never slowed down devices, it's just the old ones getting aged.

You shouldn't really be allowing your battery to get below 20%. That certainly affects battery life.
Depending upon how a battery has been used or abused can make a difference. Check this out with a battery health app.
Samsung certainly doesn't slow down devices. It's for similar reasons why your PC doesn't run like it used to.

@AndreescuD  As has mentioned not a good idea to let your Battery run as low , smart phones tend to slow down over time and plus the number of apps and cache data are factors.  It is good maintenance to wipe the cache partition and also repair apps from the same recovery Menu following updates and if there are specific issues. Whilst a Factory Reset is the last resort sometimes necessary.

It's happens to every phone that gets old. The S20 is now 3 years old the reasons that it could slow down such as the phone age, hardware may not keep up to date with newer software demands. The phone is currently getting monthly updates, however somewhere around this year it might be downgraded to quarterly security updates.
