Device security scan not working

My S20 FE 5G is only a few weeks old. I have run several security scans in this time with no issue. Today I did a scan and the scan progress stuck at 98% for over 15 mins. I cancelled the scan, re-scanned again. Now it's stuck on 0%. Can anyone help? I've rebooted the phone, cleared cache and data on the device care app, to no effect

Hi it happened to me, clear the device care apps storage that will fix the issue.

Reset the security in device care.
The name of the video is Samsung galaxy s21 how to deactivate Mcafee antivirus so that it doesn't drain your battery.
Really I want you to deactivate the antivirus & then activate it again & see if that fixes the issue.
Also the link works for me, strange.

Oh, excellent thanks. I found the video and it worked! I don't know why it had that problem. I've been doing those scans on my previous phone for years without issue. Hope it doesn't keep happening. Thanks again
