@bwestwood There are currently known issues with the camera that Samsung is working on, and hopefully their patches can address the issue. I'm not quite sure where Kyle keeps getting his updates from as he said the same thing the previous day. There has only been one camera patch and that is currently not available in most countries (the only country where I've heard it's available right now is South Korea).
Also, unless you're outdoors and/or in perfect lighting conditions, I would recommend against setting the camera to 108MP as it won't be able to use "pixel binning". I don't fully understand it but as far as I can tell it effectively combines multiple pixels into a single pixel which helps compensate for low light conditions. The problem with high megapixel cameras is that the pixels can be too small meaning they don't allow enough light in, so pixel binning is used to compensate for that.
In the meantime, I have found that the camera appears to fare better if you switch to the "pro" mode (even without making any "pro" style adjustments), it just seems to work better, but it does mean that you can only use the main sensor and not the wide angle lens or telephoto lens. Give that a shot and see if that helps. Hopefully we get the patch fairly soon and all this will be resolved.
