bluetooth problems on s20 5g

cannot conect to anything with bluetooth ie,new dell inspiron 17 laptop,garmin drivesmart 55 satnav,any headset any other phone ,please help lol

I cannot connect my s10 plus to my laptop since une ui 2.1, before it connected with no problems...

Try deleting any pairing and then try again.

 

Go into Settings.  Apps. Bluetooth.  Storage.  Clear Cache and cookies.

 

Ensure there are no updates both for the Samsung phone and for the devices your trying to connect to @stucan

have tried that and it just does not like me lol there must be something I'm not doing ,my misses phone connects to all devices but mine doesn't like any of them

Any chance you figured this out? I can't get my garmin connected to my s20+

I purchased a S20 FE 5G (16 nov.2020) bluetooth is working fine , I connected my Buds plus, Garmin watch , my home sound bar. The problem is when I run, I get music thru my buds but no audio notification from my Garmin watch like speed, average pace , HR, etc. If I go thru the bluetooth menu and click on the Garmin paired device I get a pop-up message  "an app is needed to use this device". Never experience something like this before. I am really angry as I was unsure if I should by iPhone or Samsung . My wife's iPhone 12 pro has no issues with the bluetooth Garmin devices, obviously is from Samsung. I did a live chat with one of their staff and he stated that is not from Samsung and that I should contact Garmin :smiling-face:

I did all the steps: Try deleting any pairing and then try again.

                                   Go into Settings.  Apps. Bluetooth.  Storage.  Clear Cache and cookies.

                                   Ensure there are no updates both for the Samsung phone and for the devices your trying to connect

But nothing changed.

 

 If any of you has the same issue and fix it pls let me know, it will be my last Samsung.

I tried to connect to my car kit. All previous device had connected but my Samsung Note 20 Ultra cannot!
Why is happening this?

I just bought the S20 5G to replace my SG9. Installed  at carrier location, using Smart Switch. Got it home and was in a panic trying to get my PLT headset to connect but it wouldn't recognize it. After 12 mins some app called Smart Things opened up and accepted my headset and magically it paired and updated. I want to purchase a Garmin watch and now afraid it won't connect. I have friends with older Samsungs that use Garmin, but I haven't own a watch yet. Samsung wants us to buy Samsung Gear, but their products don't sync with outside websites. Tech support told me I'd have to use a Garmin through the Garmin app. Ugh...
