Bluetooth can't connect with Win 10 laptop although paired

Hiya, subject of this post basically. Even though I have paired my Dell Win 10 laptop with my S20 FE 5G via BT but when I try to connect by tapping on the paired device name from mobile BT settings, it says can't connect 😞 Any known fix to this?

Okay, guys i have fixed. Now, go to bluetooth from phone, and disconnect your computer (You should hit the name of your pc or hit the wheel and disconnect). Like this:

then, go to bluetooth tab from your computer also disconnect every connection of your phone in there. Then open Your Phone app on pc and go this tab: 

At first, it is going to want a connection to your phone. Then do what it says. Then accept the request from both of your device. Congrats!

p.s. Don't connect bluetooth manually

I too am getting this issue and first noticed it because I had set up the Phone Link app and it stopped working. I'm using a Galaxy Fold 3 and connecting to a Windows 10 PC.

It worked for about 2 months then stopped working about 4-6 weeks ago. Things I've observed about this problem:

If you run the Windows bluetooth troubleshooter it fixes a problem but gives no details on what it is. If you run it again straight away, it fixes the problem again, so is clearly not fixing it.

If I manually pair the devices, Windows pairs straight away, but at the phone it either hangs on "pairing" or takes a much longer time to say it's paired than Windows does.

As others have said, it continues to show as paired on the PC and phone. When I try to connect from the phone it doesn't even come back with an error - I get no response after pressing connect.

I can't be 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure this stopped working after a big Windows update, and not a phone update.

I've had the same issue as everyone else, connecting the Note 10+ to my MSI Creator. I have connected to audio using the Bluetooth audio receiver app (free) from the windows store after following the instructions from a Microsoft forum.

1. Now download the Bluetooth Audio Receiver app (free) from Microsoft Store. 
2. Install the app and select your phone inside the app and click on "Open Connection."

Of note, when I opened the app, nothing was there, so I did the whole "add device" on my phone and laptop, and then in the app, it appeared. Now my phone's Bluetooth says "Connected for audio." This is still mad annoying.

I have the same issue and I have tried the different suggestions mentioned here but still no luck. I am able to pair my device (S20 FE SD) with the Phone Link app, but unable to connect via bluetooth. Therefore I am unable to use the call feature within the Phone Linke app. Has anyone managed to find another way to connect?

I had the same problem. I tried everything that was written here and used all the advice I found on Google. Nothing helped. My Samsung Galaxy S10 was paired with my Accer Laptop-A43LO02M, but it wasn't possible to connect it. The key is to reinstall the Phone Link app on the PC and reconnect with S10. So I uninstalled Phone Link from my PC and restarted the PC. Then I re -installed app Phone Link into the PC anew. Than I removed my Accer laptop-A43LO02M from Windows Your Phone App on my S10 and restarted the phone. Then I paired my S10 via Bluetooth with my PC and then I connected Windows Your Phone App on my S10 with Phone Link on the PC and made all setup and the problem was fixed, the phone was paired and connected and I could send files from my S10 to PC again. Wow!

No, doing the bluetooth setup through the "Phone Link" app won't make any difference because it does exactly the same as the bluetooth settings menu in Windows. The Phone Link app can pair the phone successfully through its own bluetooth stup but then it will say it can't connect:

Resetting everything doesn't help, it happens with a brand new phone (S22 Ultra) right after factory reset and I tested it on 2 different Win 10 computers with the same bluetooth problem (can pair but not connect). It's a Windows problem that the PC can't be used as a "headset" for the phone (i.e. making calls). File transfer and internet connection sharing works fine over bluetooth, only the call function is screwed.

I have set the following settings to Focus assist, but still can't get the phone connected via bluetooth. 🙁 Are there any other settings?
