Now digital wellbeing and app continuity draining more than 1% battery every hour each in the background...samsung browser used to drain about 10% every hour on wifi now after update and app continuity on it drains 20% .... i like being able to share/ continue on my tab s7 but it cost too much batterylife... before update 7/8 screen on time...now barely 5 hours... i turned off app continuity to test some more... any one else notice?

I prefer not to use the Well Being feature on my phone @Ikbenjelly
I've found over time that having functions running in the background will use more battery.
Have you considered stopping the app , clearing it's cache and or disable it.
Look at it's preference settings in the app.
I'm not saying you should have to as these features are on the phone to service a person's needs if they need it.
I also use sleep and deep sleep on my phone to add apps to them to help curb battery usage but that's only a few apps that I don't need to be running in the background if not needed.
Sometimes after an update the following generic troubleshooting tips help.
1. Clear your phone's System Cache Files by turning your phone Off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phone's System Files and clear the cache. No information is lost this way. You may need to insert your headphones or hook upto a computer with your data cable to get to this menu on the phone.
2. Put the phone in Safe Mode which disables your downloaded app's but let's your stock app's keep working. If the issues stop then this highlights a downloaded app as the possible issue. Come out of Safe Mode and start deleting your most recent downloaded app's one at a time until it stops. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/
I wish you all the best with this.

I dont really use the digital wellbeing info... but i just leave it as is.. normally playing clash royale it drains about 13% per hour...after the update it drained 25%+...did a cache partition wipe and cleared google play services... it seems better now...and samsung browser doesnt drain 20% +in an hour now on wifi....around 8% like before.
I did notice data disconnects when it switches from 5G back to 4G... it seems 4g to 3g is more seamless if youre downloading or streaming

app booster is not for improving battery life... it recompiles the app if it got fragmented to make it launch a little bit faster....
My advice to counter the issue you are facing is to boot in revcovery and perform a wipe cache partition.
Then power on the device and check to be into power saving, turn on adaptive battery and check again if all the apps are in deep sleep or go out of it (in the device care settings), turn off enhanced processing.
Via game launcher or game plugins in game booster plus set clash royale to maximum power saving since it does not need much gpu power.

As i stated clearing google play services and wiping cache seems to have worked.. all the adaptive battery settings etc.was not the problem and setting the game to max powersaving is not an option because it makes the game run like ***** haha.. it seems the update caused google play services to drain constantly...had this before on the s9 and s10+ after an update..samsung browser is back to normal now it seems draining below 10% on wifi ... clash is back to about 13% on balanced... the game plugin saves the playing stats ass well so that runs in the background as well but at least it drains less than before...at least google play services is back to below 1% in 10 hours.

yes.... power saving makes it impossible to run clash royale which is a 2d game... that game runs no problem on a j3 2016 which is not a powerful device from any means

Setting the game plugin to max powersaving will make clash royale run at 34fps on my s20ultra and even the animations on title screen become choppy...it should run at 60fps in game... have you actually tried what you suggested? Dont have a J3 2016....but i guess if you are used to that you wouldnt know any better..but if you have got a slightly more powerfull phone please try it and see for yourself
