Hi all,

After just 8 months I am now averaging around 2 hours of screen on time whereas I used to get 5+ hours. I have reset the device multiple times and I still have the same issue. I have most apps in sleep or deep sleep etc therefore I assume I need a battery replacement which is crazy considering it's only 8 months old.

Anyone else getting low screen on time?

I've the same issue with my S20 5G. I purchased my phone in August. I've had problems since day one with battery. I've taken it to be looked at by Samsung store, and they found no issues.

Since updating to Android 11/One Ui.3.0, the battery is horrendous. I've also Factory Reset my phone last week and issues have continued. 95 of my 99 apps/services are in deep sleep as well.

(I've had phone on 1hr today and it's depleted 18%, in just reading websites and stuff)

I think it's something Samsung should be looking at, as the amount of posts relating to subject, on here, are increasing.

To update: Today, after 1hr of SOT, my phone has dropped 21% battery. All I've done is surf the Internet, reading websites (No streaming, videos, music, social media). So at rate like that, that works out at less than 5hr SOT, from full, for a phone that's less than 6mths old.

Update 2. This is the battery stats for today. I've not used the phone as I've been out cycling (hence the levelling out) BUT look at the drop in battery from when I was using phone. 😬
