Hi all, I've had my s20+ now about 6 months but for the last month I basically have to keep my phone on constant charge or I will die out of the blue. It can go from 80% charge to completely dead, today it went off at 93% and when I turned it back on it was on 9%. When I have to be a away from a power supply for any length of time I have to put it on battery saving mode but even then it will only last a few hours. I didn't take out any insurance when I signed up for the contract, should I contact samsung direct about this?

Ps also my back glass is coming off if anybody has had any issues like this?

Hi @willp87

The battery shouldn't be doing this.

Can you eloberate as to how the back Glass is coming away ?

Accidental damage isn't covered by Samsung's 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty.

Are there any Samsung Service Centres where you are or doorstep repair options.

Did Samsung supply the phone directly or was it via a mobile phone contract  ?

I ask because in the UK it's the network that applies the warranty not Samsung so maybe ask your network for support although I'm sure Samsung will want to help.

Another option is any mobile phone insurance or home Contents insurance.

I wish you all the best with this situation.

Yea im in the UK and the phone is through O2. The back glass has come lose on one side the gap is big enough to fit my finger nail in easily, don't think the glue is strong enough now to keep it tight together.

Hey @willp87

Thank you for elaborating.

As o2 supplied the phone then they have a duty of care to provide support although the sticking point maybe the issue with the back of the phone coming away.

Taking into consideration I've not seen the phone the usual issue is either the battery swelling or an accidental bump which they'll look into and give their findings on.

Samsung being Samsung would also try to help if you use a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre

You could back up and remove any relevant Sd card and factory reset but this may not help as it sound's like a hardware issue.

I wish you all the best with this situation.
