Assigning Photo to a Contact

Hi, new S20 FE 5G, just setting it up but I can't assign a photo to a contact. I'm long pressing the circular letter of the surname in the contact I want a photo assigning but it doesn't link me to anything. I've tried going via the photo itself using "Set As..." but it never shows in the contacts list.

Any help greatly appreciated.

It all depends where your numbers are saved, I have my numbers saved to my samsung account and I'm able to add a photo to the contact but when I had my numbers on my sim card I wasn't able to change anything other than the name/number.

Thanks Welshy, that would explain it. Seems a bit daft but then I'm new to Samsung so there may be a good reason.

@Skids01: In order to assign a photo to a contact, please open the Contacts app > Select a contact > Tap on the camera symbol above their name > Select one of the preset images, or tap on 'Gallery' to choose an image from your Gallery. I hope this helps.

Thanks, I know it should be that easy but there is no camera symbol above names on my phone.
