Apps randomly opening

About 80% of the time when I unlock my screen there are apps running in the background even when all closed down before locking the screen and not even clicking on them before locking, anyone seen this before ?

Same as me very frustrating. Try running your phone in safe mode, it doesn't do it on mine then. Is your phone the S20 FE by ant chance?

I done a factory reset and it stopped doing it for a while, it only started again when I started downloading apps. So I think it might be a bad app thats causing others to open at random times. Trying to figure out which one it is

yeah same here twice I have done it, like you said annoying more than anything

Hopefully they'll roll out an update soon enough that'll fix it, if its a common enough issue

Same problem here. Just bought my new s20FE on Tuesday, feared it was already broken. Glad to hear I'm not the only one, if it's common they'll fix it...hopefully...

I have the same issue on my 5-day-old S20 FE, Irritating is not the right word...Hope they roll out a fix for this.

hmmm by the looks of it, it's s20 fe issue... I have the same one.

but apparently back in 2017 (in USA at least) the had the same problem on few samsung phones. namely s6 and s7.

this might be the worst purchase by far....

on my S20 FE, the Gallery app always appears open in the background after unlocking the screen, even closing all apps previously.
