I'm not a beta tester, but wondering if current beta testers know if Samsung will move towards Google Messages and Phone or continue with their own versions.

Are they using their own apps or switching to Google apps.

I think you'll still have the option to choose. If they do I wouldn't really be happy, as I prefer using Samsung messages and phone app to Google's.

Yeh, they use less space as well compared to Google versions.
And TBH I don't miss using the Google versions since switching to Samsung phone from Google phone

I agree with both of you, samsung messages is nice and clean, mixes with the ui, Google messages isn't so nice , I think they will also give the choice, think only reason the s21 gets it as a default is because they wanting people to try the samsung version of Google messages.

Yes as far as I am aware Samsung are invested in their own messaging app and sufficient popularity still there for it. Know fans or the Google alternative but it still Samsung for me.
