samsungs are the last devices to get it as the pixel phones are the first

was wondering as my phone had an update a few days ago but when i checked this morning its still android 10

Nothing definitive  but Android Authority expects that Android 11  for Samsung Devices will likely  start  rolling  out in select markets from the end of November. https://www.androidauthority.com/android-11-update-tracker   Certainly the S20 devices will be the first followed by other flagships , whilst it will be 2021 before some receive it.
