All gallery photos missing!! Galaxy S20 FE

Just got the Galaxy S20 FE and transferred all photos from my previous device  (S9) and then a few hours later noticed they had ALL been deleted.  Absolutely heart broken, i really need these photos back

 . Does anyone know why this has happened???

hi, have you gone to your gallery's recycle bin in case they have been moved there, if they have been deleted?

I've just checked and its empty ;( no photos in the recycle bin at all 😞

oh that sucks. are they still on the original device? did you use Google photos or another cloud backup on your s9?

photos are the only thing I didn't move over using smart switch from s9 to s20fe5g, because I knew gad them all backed up!

No. Once they all moved over via smart switch i reset my old device as im selling it. Dont understand what has happened. 10,000 precious photos lost ;(

they might be on samsung cloud. albeit they moved to one drive. check there

Just checked the cloud and nothing. I dont have a one drive account, its asking me to set up a new account:(

Have you checked Photos folder?

and you don't have Google photos?

yes i have google photos but nothing on there 😞
