Pokemon Go and the Samsung S20 Ultra

While this is primarily a Niantic issue, perhaps a gentle 'nudge' from Samsung might get their attention. All Samsung Galaxy Store versions of PoGo starting with 0.170.0 and subsequent updates 0.171.1 and 0.171.2 will freeze a few seconds after starting the game, from various Forum Threads around it seems to be just the S20 Ultra has this issue, i also have an S8+ and i even resurrected an old S7 Flat to test it and all updates are fine on them, luckily a forced update hasn't happened yet but when it comes looks like S20 Ultra players will be locked out, just to point out this also happens on the Google Play Store versions so ball is in Niantic's court.

I can confirm:

version 0.171.3-G from Google Play store freezes

version 0.171.4-S from Samsung Galaxy store freezes faster than the -G version

Also, they install as separate apps on the phone with separate stats in Game Launcher

I hate how Samsung highlights the title of Apps downloaded from Galaxy store in the Game Launcher as if to say their apps are better/safer than ones from Google Play store

It's the same app, but during the genesect event they managed to get a pass with a £5 discount. That's what the difference will be.

This has gone on far too long, expect better service from both. Over 10 years with every new top phone from Samsung and with pokemon go from the start and they can't fix this issue and worse still, forced the update during the week that means it is unplayable unless u use an older phone. 

Sort this out or people will leave both Samsung and and the game.

Yeah it's been more than 2 weeks already with I think 3 updates but they still haven't fixed this issue yet!
