On my old S8, my apps appeared as a list, with a scroll bar down the side, I can't see the option on my S20?
Apps like `List Apps' just give you a list of what's installed, not rearrange the look of the apps page.
I'm wondering if it came with the Microsoft Theme/home screen I used to use? Any help appreciated!

If you want the list with a srollbar, push a finger somewhere on the screen, wait until a menu i sdisplayed, then select Home scrren settings, Home screen layout and choose Home and Apps screens, then click on Apply
Now press the menu button right bottom, then 3dots menu, choose Sort and Alphabetical order
Is this what you want?

Wow! Almost perfect! And thanks for the speedy reply. On the S8 the apps showed very small and listed one above the other alphabetically sorted, with a scroll bar.
This goes a long way to helping though.

This was pretty close, as an answer!
I have added a screenshot of how my old menu looked here https://imgur.com/0ydBXI7
I'd still love to replicate this..
That looks like mine. Which is from Microsoft launcher which you download. Is that what you used on your s8? As that menu with the alphabet letters on the right is exactly what it looks like on microsoft launcher
Here is mine.. https://imgur.com/3YzPKwz
(screenshot off my s9+ but it works the same on s20+ and as I signed in it synced the layouts and everything too)
