So I've just switched over to a s10+ from iPhone x and don't get me wrong I'm loving the phone but to me seems the battery life is pritty poor, sent a few emails this morning and lost 5% on battery life?????
Well f**k me I guess. I don't have the update yet..

Hi,
Did you see any improvement?
I am about to give the phone back because I can do it only by 2 weeks from the date I bought it. So I wouldn't like to risk just to try if it gets better
Thank you!
Good that the region you're in allows you to give back the phone, I am not sure if I can do that in Singapore, will be visiting the Samsung Service Center tomorrow. If I were you, I will definitely return the phone and get my money back!
This site list out the latest firmware for each s10 model and network

UK EE: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s10e/SM-G970F/EVR/

UK Sim Free not from Samsung Direct: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s10e/SM-G970F/XEU/
Looks like only the Samsung Direct and Sim free models have been getting the latest upddates, 3 firmware since launch. Network purchased phones require the networks to review and approve the firmware before they are pushed out. I have the Samsung direct phone and I can confirm have received all 3 firmwares. The battery drain has been fixed for me.
Check you phone manually Settings > Software Updates > Download and Install, or try the PC Desktop SmartSwitch application there is an option in the tool to check and download firmwares.
For the network phones, I would call up your network provider to pressure them that they are not approving the firmware updates. That is one reason why I stopped bying my phones from the networks.
I hope this helps you guys out?
I understand my above post shows my phone has been off charge for almost 18 hours but to be on 65% after just over 1 hour of screen on time is a joke

What's your spotify usage (time)? The battery drain doesn't look too bad, but a could be a bit better. Have you been on LTE all the time since full charge?
I just got my update. It didn't say anything about fixing the battery issues and everything we talked about ,but since these updates have some bug-fixes I'm waiting to see what will happen. I wiped out partition cache and waiting to drain my battery so that I'll give the phone a full charge to see the results of the update .
