Predictive text and auto correct has stopped after June 2020 update on S10.

I downloaded the June 2020 update. I have tried to go to Languages ; Samsung keyboard; and the predictive text is greyed out so I cannot turn it on.

I have tried changing keyboards from English UK to English US. No joy. 

Tried findinh the cache - cannot find it but I cleaned my apps. 

Help!!!

I know you got it solved, but here's another solution that might work for others:

1. Open a new email or text so that your keyboard comes up.

2. Click on the three dots icon (...) in the upper right area of your keyboard. 

3. If the Floating button has a line through it, touch it to select it. 

I have a Droid Turbo 2, Android 7.0 (yes, an old one), but I wouldn't be surprised if this worked with other versions as well.

It worked for me. Booting into safe mode and predictive text not greyed out. Reboot normally and it works. Thank you.

Hi,

I have done every version of the solution 😞 nothing works! I rely on predictive text as I have dyslexia and I get phones/tablets that have the feature already. Now it is gone and nothing from anyone no apology, no patch. Just go and fix it yourself. Since this issue effective so many of us; your consumers, we would have expected something. So when I pay money for a product to work I don't then expect to have to troubleshoot the problem myself unless I did something out of the manufacturing specification.
