Pre ordered s10+ 128gb black - card payment not taken

Hey guys 

I pre ordered the S10 plus 128gb in Prism Black on 2nd March. 

As of yet the status is still showing as pre ordered and the cancel button is also still showing.

The date for dispatch is showing 21st March which is the date that was given at the time of placing the order, however no payment has been taken from my debit card?  Is this normal?  Would the payment be taken once the phone is dispatched?  And is it also normal for the order to still show as pre ordered? 

Any help on this would be much appreciated

The monies would have been gated Off by your Bank @Saj1 and would be taken by Samsung once the phone was moved to a despatched status.

That's what I was a bit worried about as usually the payment goes into a pending status on the bank account until it is claimed by the company but it isn't. Queued for 1h30mins plus yesterday evening to get through to support without any joy.

Getting a bit anxious as not heard anything since placing the order and the order status not changing since then either

If this was my situation I'd also phone my Banks customer services to see if anything is showing at their end.

As I said Samsung wouldn't take any funds until it had been despatched but your right to want clarification on the status of your order so Yes ring them and kr use their Chat facility.
