European Only Sim GALAXY S10

Hi All,

I am planning to buy a Samsung galaxy S10 from Netherland , but I will be moving to India permanently after 6months.

I read about the regional lock as the phone says European only sim, I know it will be unlocked once I use it for 5-10mins with local netherlands sim card. 

But I want to know, what will happen when I move back to india and there is any update on the phone which typically reset the phone to factory setting .

Will I need European sim card again to unlock that phone ?

Hi @BeingNishant. Just to make you aware, there may be some apps that aren't compatible once you are in India (Samsung Pay won't work) and you may be unable to update the phone.
