Can't make YouTube default app for YouTube links

Hello,

All of a sudden youtube isn't the default app for YouTube links in browsers anymore on my S10e. When I click a YouTube link in Samsung browser or Firefox it opens the web YouTube and not the app.

I tried uninstalling and installing YouTube (which isn't really possible), cleared YouTube app cache and data and cleared phone cache. When I look in the default apps settings options it shows that YouTube is the default app for YouTube links. I can't figure it out. Any ideas out there? Thanks!

Open a tab in samsung internet browser, then go into setting, useful functions and be sure that the option open links in app is enabled.

Then go into settings of the device, apps, the click on the 3 dots at the top right and select the second option which should be default apps(or something like that), then be sure that the open links in app is on and navigate down to youtube to see if it has links assigned.

This should work
