Did anyone notice that YT app sometimes (regardless of battery %) will not switch to max resolution available?
Like you are watching a video that was uploaded 1080p, but the app wont auto switch to it, instead stay in 480 or 720?
p.s- My Wifi is 100% signal strenght and over 350Mbps.

There was a recent post from a member who was experiencing something similar to you @Venom7000
i.e the phone wouldn't let them switch up the resolution higher via the YouTube App !
I checked on my Note and it allows it without issue.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512Gb in Phantom Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I am aware of that.
My problem is that you have Auto option when it comes to selecting resolution for a video.
YT app on auto decides based on: your phone screen resolution , performance, curent YT server congestion and your WIFI signal/speed.
Problem is that when on AUTO the YT app doesnt show the video on 1080p on its own.
I know that I can select the resolution by myself . My issue is with app auto resolution.
If that makes sense??
