Why make split screen even worse?

Why did you ruin split screen even more ? Now we have to use a edge panel to open apps in the second sscree and even the good part doesn't work anymore One hand operation + app.

What do you mean? I'm using the normal way and it works just like on Android 10

Yes but now it opens second app through the edge panel and automatically closes if I try to close current secondary screen and open a new app.

Can you switch one app, while still have the other app open during the switch?

Not sure what you mean. If you close an app then the remaining app goes full screen and you can do split screen again with another app

When in split screen. Previously it was possible to press the "switch app " button and only the app select menu appeared on the side of the screen currently  selected, while the other part of the screen still was open with the other app.

Now when the "switch app" button is pressed both apps opened in the split screen dissappears and us put among all the other apps currently running, and when you choose a new app to be display the new app goes full screen.

Thus it is not possible to keep one app open during an change of apps used on the "other" part on the split screen.

Yes Samsung ruined split screen. I reverted back to one ui 2.5 I couldn't stand that *****. Who in the hell thought this was a good idea. I don't understand what them engineers are thinking.
