Sounds like you want smart lock. On my s9 this setting is located in settings, lock screen, smart lock. When you set up your phone i believe this is an option your able to choose.

I think you should do rest your smartphone or maybe you should do  factory reset this is very good idea to get a new phone for your self.

Thanks for the information, but smart lock is what I'm using,I have it set for trusted location, ie my house,and its always connected to my WiFi which is about 10 ft away..i had the same problem with a Samsung j3....ive come to a conclusion that its a waste of time putting this into Samsung phones, because it just doesn't work

hi ,I don't bother with it anymore because I can't get it to work ,have to reset it all the time, I don't want to reset the phone because I don't want to upset all of my settings ect I will just have to live with out that setting thanks anyway..
