White Bar bottom of the screen S10

Any ideas on the following please? 

My S10 was in a car cradle being a GPS, not even on a charge cable and suddenly I had a bright white stripe at the bottom. When the lock screen kicked in it became impossible to get the screen back at all it just went enirely black. I forced a shut down, plugged it into a charging cable (although it still had 50% battery left) restarted it and I got the home screen again as it rebooted  along with the white bar again momentarilly before it went black again as the lock screen kicked back in. It's impossible to get any kind of screen back now but it still appears to function as it vibrated wen I hold the power button.

Hi. How's your phone? What happened? I have the same issue and it just happened while I'm playing a game.

Yes! They changed the screen and LCD. It's a dead pixel they say. They even told I must have dropped or poke it with something which I didn't. You might have to pay for it if its out of warranty. It could cost you about $200.

Just go to Samsung. I suggest you file a complaint specially if its out of warranty already. Clearly the phone was defective. I tried opting for them to replace my phone because I've been going back and fourth the service center because of battery overheating and screen freezing/hanging then restarting on its own. And then 1 month later after they fix my other issues the screen happened. I was already out of warranty then.  Right now after several months a new issue appeared, my camera got a black smudge inside I think. The phone's problem never ends. So maybe if more people complaint they will accept the fact the phone is defective.

I bought this phone in Kuwait and now I am in Canada so not sure if I can actually do anything about it.

I don't think it matters since they are an international company. I'm sure they have service center worldwide. You just have to present the reciept of your purchase to prove if its still on warranty. Just explain what happened, if proven its not your fault and the phone was truly defective they will be liable for repairing it free.

My Phone is exactly the same way...   It was charging. and out of nowhere, I have that white bar on my screen.

I'm having the exact same problem.  I'm very careful with my phone.  I even use a shockproof case and a screensaver.     I think they made this glitch on purpose to make people pay for the new phone version.
