White Bar bottom of the screen S10

Any ideas on the following please? 

My S10 was in a car cradle being a GPS, not even on a charge cable and suddenly I had a bright white stripe at the bottom. When the lock screen kicked in it became impossible to get the screen back at all it just went enirely black. I forced a shut down, plugged it into a charging cable (although it still had 50% battery left) restarted it and I got the home screen again as it rebooted  along with the white bar again momentarilly before it went black again as the lock screen kicked back in. It's impossible to get any kind of screen back now but it still appears to function as it vibrated wen I hold the power button.

UPDATE! It looks like the fingerprint panel is the problem? I just managed to get this photo as it rebooted before the lock screen kicked in.. Then it goes black for good until restarted and plugged in. Useless hung of electrics atm.. 

The second photo is a screen shot... so the camara dowesn't recognise any issues. 

@Samsung I need some help here please. It's not even that old!!!!

I ended up sending it to Samsung.. best way to contact them is strangely my facebook!! As it was out of Warranty it cost me over £200.. i wasn't happy, I'm sure there's an issue with this as I've read of this more than a few times. When it came back it was fine, they changed the screen? And it came with a 3 month warranty of the screen ONLY. Not exactly great service.

Same thing is happening to me right now. Sent a complaint through email to CEO here in thr Philippines. They just advice me to bring it back for the nth time to their service center. (Bought several time for many other different problem such as overheating) Such *****ty service! Even their response was not sympathetic they wouldn't even say sorry about how there product has caused stressed to their customer. This is the last time I'll buy a Samsung product. I ADVICE the same for everyone.

I am having the same issue. White bar appeared suddenly. I had a difficult time getting my phone to restart and the white bar pulses when the phone is plugged into the charger.

Exactly the same issue on my S10! I woke up, grabbed my phone from the wireless charger and had a difficulty turning it on. The white bar is the same size as in the OP's photo, covering about 1/5th of the bottom screen. This is already my second S10, the first one died after the battery simply stopped charging. Gonna be so pissed if it's not covered under warranty, I never even dropped it once since I bought it 4 months ago.

Good luck... I'm hearing more and more tales of this happening. It's clearly a fairly common fault. Although they won't admit it and I had to pay for a new screen.

I had to buy a new screen at over £200... not the best resolve but it was out of warranty and they said it looked like it had been dropped. Nonsense.
