WhatsApp - can't cancel/hang up call

I can't cancel calls if I want to cancel before they answer. Screen is not responsive at all. 

But I can cancel calls after they have answered. This is very annoying because I have to call and call until whatsapp is canceling by itself.

Anyone else have this problem

Since last week, any whatsapp call in or out on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 looks like it's still ongoing even after the call is off.

The notification show running time counter of the ongoing whatsapp call, when trying to press "hangup" call, it does not respond. 

After cellphone off/on, the ongoing call message dissappear but appear again after next in or out going new call.

Does anyone else has this problem?

I have the same problem and struggling to solve it unless I turn off the data and restart my phone. Is there any solution to that? It comes up again after my next video call.

It started just lately, maybe a few days ago.

I think it's related maybe to last whatsapp update. 

Need to tell WhatsApp about that.

They replied that they are aware of the problem and will fix in future update...

Yes I have and I hate it. I only use this app for my bf who is stationed over seas and we only call one another to let the other know we're online. Can't cancel

Im also facing this problem, and i change my note 20 ultra to fold 4, but remain the same problem. Can't solve it yet.
