WHATSAPP CAMERA QUALITY

 pictures using WhatsApp camera (1x) appears blurry.   Even focused picture taken by in-phone camera will become blurry when shared to whatsapp recipient.  Any suggestions to solve?  Tks

Well, the whatsapp photo function isn't exactly the official Samsung Camera app. I would recommend using the Samsung app before sending.

Even then, Whatsapp tends to use compression to reduce the size of the image, which results into loss of quality.

But why do pictures taken with other phones not lose quality on Whatsapp?  I have a Samsung S10 and all my Whatsapp pictures lose quality. My husband has an iPhone but he does not have that problem. My friend has a Huawei and she also does not have that problem

Probably due to a worse intergration of whatsapp with the Samsung Camera, or those phones having a worse camera (Possibly a combination). I think the best party to contact is facebook (The makers of whatsapp) itself

My experience is that whatsapp does compress pictures even after I send them. It also does that with screenshots from my PC. The issue is the worst with huge screenshots/photo's.

I also have the same issue I just bought my s10 plus but the pictures don't look clear when I send them on watsapp or Instagram yet they look clear in my gallery
