Videos samsung s10 plus phone

While editing a video I took from my camera I was told to delete an old editing tool in order to continue editing as it wouldn't let me access my video until I did so. Can't remember what I was told to delete. Now I can't send or receive videos via WhatsApp.

There is no sound from my end if I upload vids edited from my camera.

Vids sent to me via WhatsApp cones up only as a pic with no play option.

Sorry, if you don't know what you were asked to delete makes this difficult. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling WA.

Thank you for responding...Yes im sorry too. I could not go back nor move forward with any action until i deleted . I just trusted what i was being told to remove. Especially right after a system update. Pardon my ignorance here... but what is WA and where do I find it on the phone please?

WA = WhatsApp. Try settings, apps, WhatsApp and uninstall then download and reinstall. Hopefully, that will fix it.
