Upper part of my screen is not working

After the last update sometimes the upper part of my screen is not working, I did not drop my phone, don't understand why .... is very annoying 😭😭.

I can't believe that there has not yet been a solution to this identified. I have the same problem, and it is not simply frustrating. I need a functional phone for my work, and this is not cutting it.

Same here. It didn't even update, no new apps were installed, and it just stopped working... 1-2cm from the top are just dead. Straight horizontal line. The rest of the screen works normally.

I tried to restart, run it in the safe mode - didn't help.

Anybody has a clue?

I have a Galaxy Z Flip and I'm having the same issue. Top part of the screen doesn't work all of a sudden. I didn't even have any update on my phone, my phone update shows latest update has been downloaded. This is frustrating.

I find it ridiculous that I have so many touchscreen issues for an expensive Galaxy Z Flip phone like Samsung's. 

I've been using Samsung for years but it's been getting worse and worse with my most recent two phones, S8 and now Z Flip. Must move on to a different brand next time!
