Hi my s10 did a system up date this morning now when i go to clear system cache partion i switch off my phone then press the volume up button. The bixby button. the on/off button altogether like i used to but since updste its not doi g it just keeps switching my phone on but not getting the blue android screen up for the options to clear cache. Also the edge lightening not working on my apps now

think this is a bug as ive just followed all this and set colours for what apps i want like before the update but it still not working at all

tried doing it manualy on full charge still no go. did what you said with laptop and it worked. 1st time in 10yrs of having a samsung galaxy ive had to do it this way . thanks for your help

You're welcome - glad you got it ! Yeah is first time for everyone - as I said it is a change they've made in the Android 11 operating system so is new to everyone !!! I only learned that from an earlier post someone else had done a wee while back

Can't think of anything else to suggest on your edge lighting though sorry !

well ive been on notifications to set up my edge lighting. it all shows its working on set up but when i get notificatins im getting not lighting at all. something is missing somwhere for this not to work on s10. my sister has updated her s10+ and everything is working fine as it was before update. ive even chose colours for my chosen apps but nothing. why mess about with something that worked fine before n why move it when it was ok where it was before. some update this has been it worse than any other i hate it. camera has changed cant get rid of cutout camera hole. its like somethings are missing on my update to change things like google tell you to go on. so fed up now i hate my phone so much now

Install glimpse notifications from play store and you can select apps to control edge lighting that Samsung don't support

it worked before the update. my daughter had the same phone as me the s10 hers has updated and everything works on her phone but alot of my features dont weve just been through everything and all ok with hers
