Who supplied the Samsung phone to you ?
i.e was it an independent online company or was it from another country i.e imported.
If you download the phoneinfo app from the Playstore this will show it's active CsC code to shed more light on where the phone came from.
Updates can be slower or non existent on imported phones / grey imports.
A Samsung Experience Store / Samsung Service Centre can help if the phone checks out as not imported.
