Hi. Coming back to ANdroid from IOS. Just got S10e. How do I allow notification vibration only when main sound set to vibration only?
Is there a way to have a banner type notification on the screen if there is a text when you're using another app? such as on IOS a banner will appeat on top and vibrate if text arrive.
From what I see you can see notification on the dropdown, but if you're say using a browser, you'd have to get out of it to see the message or even a preview of it.
thx,
L

@la12: It's not a banner, but you can set up the phone to show icons that can be tapped and expanded when a notification arrives:
Settings > Advanced Features > Smart Pop-up View > Flip the switch next to any relevant apps.
Similarly, if you go to Settings > Apps > Messages (as an example) > Notifications > General Notifications > Alert > Show as pop-up (On) > Sound (Silent) > Vibrate > On. Hope this helps.

The notification vibration seems to be working, but notifications are still not waking the lock screen!
