Transferring whatssap from iphone to Samsung S10 help!

I have tried numerous ways of trying to get my whatsapp messages from my iphone to the Smsung 10 but it only transfers over the group messages? Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try please?

@KatieG: Can you try opening Whatsapp on your iPhone > Settings > Chats > Chat Backup > Backup to the cloud. Now, install Whatsapp on your S10, sign in with the same account, and you should get a pop up saying 'Message Backup Found'. Hit 'Restore' and you should be good to go. If you don't see a pop up, try uninstalling Whatsapp on your iPhone prior to installing it on your S10. Let me know how you get on.

I have the same problem and have tried the above. i don't get the option to restore, it jumps straight to my chats where it has my groups but none of the messages or content
