Okay so here is the deal. Yesterday I took my phone at 7:30am off the charger with 100% battery life. Used it all throughout the day, played games, watched netflix, listened to music over bluetooth. And at 6:30pm I had 35% battery life with 6 hours screen on time. Woke up this morning and while I was making my coffee I updated to the latest software. Took my phone off the charger at 8am, and at 1pm the battery was already at 50% with 53 minutes screen on time. No music playing. Used the phone a little bit from 1pm to around 3 pm and got down to 36% with 2 hours screen on time. Not it's 5pm, and the phone is at 27%. At Idle it used all of it's battery. This never happened since I got the phone in March. Since yesterday I DID NOT UPDATE OR INSTALL any new apps, nor did I change any settings. Auto update is off both in the Play Store and the Galaxy Store. The software somehow messed with everything. Happy to assist in any way possible. Please resolve this issue soon.

Hello @ChrisIvanoff
Please clear the cache of the phone.
-turn off the phone
-while off, hold (volume up + power + Bixby) buttons
-release the hold when you'll see a logo
-using the volume down button, scroll down to wipe cache partition
(be careful NOT to select clear data as this will wipe the data on your phone)
-press power button to confirm
Thanks ☺

Okay so it's 4 hours and 50 minutes since I took my phone and it's already at 39% with and all I did was take some photos and listen to music. The update really broke something. Please don't sleep on this Samsung. It's really annoying. Other people are reporting the same over at reddit
