Storage issue on galaxy S10 plus

I have the S10 1tb model and just out of curriosity thought id just check the storage capacity, while it confirms 1tb it also shows that i have used 91.5gb. There is 2.4gb of apps installed and nothing else. This leaves about 88gb for the operating system which doesnt seem right, anyone else having this issue ??  is this correct or faulty phone

I have the 512gb version and there is about 48gb used that I cannot explain, I think that it probably reserves a proportion for backups etc as the proportion that we cannot explain is about the same on our phones.

Mine is even worse 128GB . I have less than one GB of downloads and yet its 97% full!!

I'm using a Samsung Note 10+ 5G with 256Gb of storage minus what's held for Android Os and future updates.

This is mine.

No idea what I'm doing differently to you guys.

I choose not to use a Sd Card.

Maybe try clearing the phones system files by turning the phone off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phone system files and clear the cache.

As a last resort back up and factory reset.

I am also facing the same issue.My phone storage is 512 GB but available is only 24GB. I hardly have any applications installed.
Can someone advise on this please.

Are you sure you've got 512 GB of INTERNAL memory ? That's not the SD-card ? Whatever, give us a screenshot of settings > maintenance > storage

I don't have SD card .195GB seems to be used by MISC files,when I open it there is hardly any files .

If you use the "My Files" app and do an analysis does it confirm the problem?

hey i have same problem i have samsung 10+ for 2 days and i check files in other it is say i  have 60gb of somting i dont now what it is i connet to switch i say i have 30gb used of 464 gb total i dont know what is samsung means on other
