I bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S10e just over three weeks ago, and it still has the August 2019 security update. I was a little surprised by this as we're almost in November. Has anyone else not been receiving any security updates?

Hi AndrewL, thanks for your reply. I ordered the phone from ebuyer.com and I am based in England. I followed the steps you suggested and the phone displayed a message saying the following: "Your security policy has already been updated to the latest version." I also turned Auto update on.

I have the same problem, I've also opened an Issue on Samsung members, still not pragmatic answer, just pointless stuff like "you will receive it soon" but there are already 4 month that I don't receive updates

Right, so what I discovered was that I had been sold a grey market phone (I was using an Italian phone in the UK) I contacted the retailer and exchanged it for a refund.
I found Reddit to be much more useful than Samsung's customer support: https://www.reddit.com/r/galaxys10/comments/dpp5gn/still_on_august_2019_security_update/?utm_medium=...

Thank you for the reply, I'll take a look at the Reddit post, how you discovered that is a grey market phone? I bought it in amazon

Grey market or not, that shouldn't be a problem. You'll have to configure the phone according to the SIM. Normally that's automatically done when you first use it. If not, you can try to repeat it : switch off, remove sim, start up, do a factory reset, switch off, insert sim, start up, when asked agree to customization suitable for sim, proceed with installation

Hi I'm nearly in the same boat. Just went to check for any updates like I always do at the beginning of a month and have just noticed that I'm still on the October update and there's no November or December update when I check. I've got SO+ and now it's a few years old the company couldn't give a toss about your phone as there's that many *****ic and gullible people out there who think their lives Will shrivel up and disappear if they don't have the latest and greatest. This is what every single phone manufacturer religiously rely on, all those gullible n******
