Spotify's lockscreen player

Hi

Since I updated I'm getting a very bland Spotify player now - reminds me of iTunes years ago. You have to click the clock on lockscreen to get the player seaker/ fav song button.

I have latest Android and Spotify updates. Pics attached. 

Could anyone be so kind to find how I get nicely designed Spotify player back?

do you also find that the buttons on lock screen don't always work? I have had to move to YT music because of this.

unfortunately that's the way it is, samsung is becoming more minimalistic which I personally don't mind, a good example is when you used to turn volume up it would say media or ringer, now you just get a symbol that you have to work out what the hell it is,

if you tap the hamburger at the top of volume bar it shoes the volume levels for you

I've not had those issues, I agree with minimalism of the other aspects just not this one, as I find it too close to Apples.. 😁

I know what you mean, I came from apple so I'm used to it I am just happy that with samsung you get all your texts notifications and your ringer volume doesn't have a mind of its own

hamburger? the 3 dots, click on that and it comes up with 5 volumes have worked out what they all are its just you have to have a quick think when it pops up unless it's Bluetooth as that is obvious lol
