Galaxy S10 SeriesI have just put my Galaxy S10 on charge and after about five minutes of been on charge smoke started coming out of the charging port luckily i was close by to take it off. I have seen a fair few people who have had the same thing happen which is very worrying, doesn't give me much confidence in the brand.

Galaxy S10 SeriesWere you using an official Samsung Charger @Bradbp1994 ?
May i assume it's not had an accidental bump or water damage.
Check the port to ensure there's no building up of lint etc in it by using a torch.
If it is the Charger then replace it or seek support from a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre.
I wish you all the best with this situation.

Galaxy S10 SeriesYes it was with an official Samsung charger. The phone has been dropped in the past but has no water damage and the charger port now just looks black and burnt.
Thanks for the reply.

Galaxy S10 SeriesHi @Bradbp1994
"The phone has been dropped in the past "
This may have had an impact inside that has just surfaced.
A Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can take a look but if they deem this as caused by an accidental bump your warranty wouldn't cover a repair unfortunately.
