Shutter sound

Where hasxthe shutter sound option gone from camera settings on  samsung galaxy s10 it was there 2 days ago

It got removed for legal reasons (folk with perverted minds using smartphones for the wrong reasons on public transport)

So takeing the shutter sound off is going to stop perverted minds takeing photos. Makes it more acceptable now its on quiet thats a stupid reason it worked yesterday

Maybe it will act as a deterrent. At the very least people around them will be alerted who can then report them to the Police. The law was introduced by the government due to the spate of upskirt images being taken on public transport during rush hour and shared on the internet quite apart from the ones kept privately.

@mummyjanny hello,if you need to mute the camera shutter sound,create a routine with Bixby Routines as follows:When open app/Camera/-then /Sounds and vibration/Sound and volume mode -silent.It works perfectly.

@mummyjanny Sorry for the misunderstanding. In this case, try a forced restart: hold down the Power button and the Volume button (-) until the device restarts. If the problem persists, reset the camera settings from the camera settings itself, please last -clear cache and data from it.

@mummyjanny: The shutter sound is enabled by default and can't be switched off in the Camera app settings, therefore please try heading to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Volume, and check your System volume slider to make sure its at a suitable level. If it's all the way to the left, and muted, then the shutter sound won't be audible.
