Any ideas on how I can get one

Hi @Cueball 

 

Can I ask ....

 

1. Who supplied the phone i.e a Network or directly from Samsung or reseller  ?

 

2. Was the phone imported from another country to use in your country.

 

3. If no updates are available in the phones software update section then have you tried Samsung Smartswitch.

 

Please can you download the phoneinfo app from the Playstore and say what the active CsC is.

Hi I took part in beta program  and it's not  been right since  I tried  smart  switch  no luck  I was going to go to local guy in the market  to remove  beta  and install  official  programs or take to Samsung  shop or just  return  to shop I purchase but with  covid  19 about  can't do much  also on camera  updates  I have  no pictures  on screen  but if I go to gallery  I can see  what's taken so I uninstalled  updates  now ok any help will  be much  appreciated  cheers

Hello @Cueball 

 

Personally I'd give the " local guy in the market" a miss because if they use the wrong custom rom or something glitches Samsung then woukdnchafgw you to put it right.

 

My suggestion is to wait until the Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centres re open and go there.

Hi me again what if I just took  it back to the store  I got it from  and told them  the camera  stopped  working  and its under  warranty  ie exchanged  for a new one

Has the camera stopped working  ?

 

The shop would submit the phone for testing to be repaired @Cueball  under the manufacturing warranty T&C's.

 

In the Uk I buy my phones directly from my local Samsung Experience.

 

If it develops a fault within 30 they give me a new phone.

 

If it develops a fault outside of 30 days then it's a repair.
