Android 11 how to use personalised notifications in apps like Gmail? I would like to change sound. Thanks

Hi @Sosna ,  Go to Settings-Apps- GMail- Notifications-Miscellaneous (tap Miscellaneous)- Sound  .  Can change from here.

Hello James yes I know about that but I want to use my sound not standard. In previous system I have to put that sound in ringtone folder and now I did the same but that sound is available only for calls and what's app

@Sosna  Sorry (had not checked that earlier)   yes does not seem to be allowing personal ringtone /music to  be used for many of the apps.  Will see if I can find anymore out.

@Sosna It seems to work if you copy Audio files  into the Notifications section of Internal storage.  The custom files then show up in the Sounds - Notifications.   I have tried G Mail and a few other Apps.   More detail here https://www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/how-to-set-an-audio-file-as-a-message-notification...

I did like that and still nothing. But maybe there is some fault in software. I will try to do reset to factory settings tommorow maybe this will help

It is working now. I make folder notifications in main storage, put files in and they are available. Thank you for help and have a nice evening
