Since the last update every couple hours twice or three times i get this grey notification at the bottom of my screen reading *system update configuration abort * or something like this

Can you please check that you're Android OS is up to date via Settings➡Software update➡Download and install?

it was last updated on the 17 Nov, and there is no new updates according to this search

I would suggest a factory reset in this case. (Settings➡General management➡Reset➡Factory data reset)
