since G973FXXU1ASE7 (612MB) received today proximity senzor not working good in phone calls....until this update everything was good.....so the problem is that when make a call it works like this :
-when you approch to the head/ear it goes dark all good....but sometimes it remains dark even if you move from there even if you press double tap the screen it's not responding...after this when you put to the ear again it's not working.....if you press power button it works again ok but after it has the same problems.....
I did perform wipe cache no fix at all ..several restarts ...no fix

also please do this as a recomandation from the moderator
I'm yet to hear back from the developers regarding the error report you sent - but anyone else having the same issue as you should also send error reports with log files via the Members app.

We've received a reply from the developers:
“When you put the phone down from your ear to check the content on the phone during a call, the proximity sensor and motion are detected and the screen is automatically turned on.
However, if the proximity sensor or motion recognition is not properly performed, the screen may not be turned on. In this case, press the power button to turn on the screen. We are trying to improve the performance of this function. Some of changes in the latest binary can be effective. But it cannot cover the all of user cases. In this case, please press the power button or double tap the screen.”
My interpretation of that is that there are some specific motions the proximity sensor doesn't pick up on so well as others (or not at all, maybe); but the developers are looking to improve that.
