Samsung s10 screen unlock spinning green circle

Today my phone has suddenly started to have a green spinning circle when i unlock my phone and each time it seems to be taking longer before i can use it any idea's what it is phone is not even 12 months old.

@izzy75: I'm not sure what this could be. Is the circle appearing on your Home screen and, if so, are your apps and widgets visible underneath? What method are you using to unlock the phone? Are you able to take a picture of the issue and attach it to your reply, so I can get a better understanding of what you're seeing? In the meantime can you try starting your phone in Safe Mode, and monitor the performance to see if the green circle remains? To proceed, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode > With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off. If you can't see the circle while in Safe Mode, then please restart your phone any delete any recently installed third party apps, as this issue is likely to be stemming from an external source.

Hi Andrew, it happened which ever way I unlocked the phone, I did put it in safe mode and no it didn't happen, my son put fortnight on here via Epic games yesterday so I've deleted that and restarted the phone its still happening rhe first couple of times I unlock after start up its fine but then its starts again. but it does appear to be 3rd party. how you you proceed trying to work out which one though 🤔

@izzy75: Thank you for trying that for me. Sadly it isn't possible to determine which app is the source of the issue, therefore it will have be by process of elimination until you notice an improvement. Apologies for any inconvenience this might cause you.

This is happening on my phone also. Very annoying, only started doing it yesterday, I haven't had fortnight installed on here.
My husband got the same phone at the same time (one year old now) and it doesn't do it on his?...

Hi Lorny,
I've fixed mine it was not fortnight, I started removing apps that I don't use at all, then I looked at apps ive not long had and I cant be sure but I deleted a load of health apps and I think it may have been one that reminds you to drink water. so try going through apps that you may have only had a few weeks.
